I decided to try tanning a cow hide myself… and let’s just say it didn’t go exactly as planned 😳

From scraping and pressure washing to soaking it in an alum and salt solution, this turned into WAY more work than I expected…

In between all that, it’s just another chaotic day on the farm — fixing equipment, dealing with animals, and trying to keep everything running.

Some might call this project pointless… but honestly, I loved every second of it.
