September - Autumn, season of cute instagram posts, pumpkin spiced lates and adorable door wreaths everyone gets the knits out and fringes always miraculously make a comeback, we all start talking of cosy nights in front of the fire meanwhile farmers are attempting to gather the last bits of crop third and fourth cuts, we have the ongoing battle of leaving stock out long enough avoiding pneumonia not bringing wet animals inside tramping through mud to feed them in my youth bale riding across the quagmire although thatβs not strictly health and safety savvy so we donβt do that now πππ€π»π€π» best foot forwards and all that. Anyhow hereβs the next field to plough out and reseed, itβs always been great for mushrooms at this time of year but the only thing itβs good for around the feeder is ducks right now. But as itβs a bit of a sacrifice area im not worried. Should we pretend that mud isnβt a part of autumn??
