We Bought Back My Dad’s Cattle | New Arrivals On The Farm

12.00pm - Saturday 31st October 2026 6,914

Autumn has arrived at Bemborough Farm, with the leaves turning and 70mph winds on the forecast! Join Adam Henson for a tour of the latest new arrivals, starting in the farmyard with Brian the Sebastopol goose and Daffy, the duck who thinks she’s a chicken.

There’s a new Romney ram from Cornwall, bred for resilience against worms, and two Whitepark cows, Guinevere and Lara. One of them comes from a cow line Adam’s dad sold over twenty years ago, so this is genetics coming home... We also check in on the Jacob sheep, the donkey foals and a litter of Gloucestershire Old Spot piglets.

If you’ve got any new arrivals at home, let us know about them in the comments!

This episode offers a behind-the-scenes look at rare breeds, livestock breeding and life at Cotswold Farm Park, perfect for farmers, smallholders, and anyone interested in Britain’s native breeds.
