Where should you spend your limited marketing time as a small farm?
In this video, I map out the digital marketing channels available to direct to consumer farms and look at where each one fits in the customer journey, from making your first sale to building a $1 million farm business.
We’ll look at:
• Your website and online store
• Email marketing
• Search engine optimization
• Google Business Profile
• YouTube
• Facebook and Instagram
• Meta and Google Ads
More importantly, we’ll look at what each channel is actually good at. Some are better for helping new customers discover you. Others are better for converting customers, building loyalty, or encouraging word of mouth.
You do not need to be everywhere. Start with the channels that make sense for the size of your business, build a useful data set, and add complexity as your farm grows.
