Today we finally got out of the shop and back to some real work on the farm. The weather is starting to turn and spring field work is getting close, but first we have to clean out one of our potato cellars.

This cellar is full of potatoes that we can't use anymore, so we're hauling them out and spreading them on the fields for fertilizer. Thankfully Double L dropped off one of their new potato scoopers for us to demo, because our small scooper definitely wasn't going to reach across this entire cellar.

We got the new scooper hooked up to the piler, loaded a few trucks, and started hauling potatoes out to the fields. The new setup works great, but of course nothing on the farm goes perfectly. We ended up tightening belts, dealing with rocks in the cellar, and even found a leaking seal on the steering ram.

We also pulled out some of the ventilation pipes and had a few potato avalanches along the way.

We'll be cleaning this cellar out for the next several days, so there will probably be more videos coming on this project.

Also please keep my grandpa in your prayers. He recently fell and broke his hip and is currently in the hospital.

Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
