Subscribe and follow along as we build our DREAM HOME after 10 long years of saving and waiting! It's a modern-style house plan with a single-slope roof. It's a barndominium hybrid, so it's stick-built and on a basement because here in Michigan we get a LOT of tornadoes!
We'd LOVE to build it fully from the ground up, but sadly our local township only allowed us TWO YEARS to fully complete our home, so it's a race against time to try to get everything done BOTH with professional help AND on our own!
Building half of it on our own allows us a MASSIVE savings with our budget and makes this unique home design actually affordable!
