Put your thoughts into the mix

Prince Harry has found himself in the farming headlines after being pictured riding a quad bike with his two young children, with none of them wearing helmets. Is this another example of the gap between the realities of farming and what the general public sees on social media... and would the public even question it?

We discuss quad bike safety and whether we need to get better at calling out unsafe behaviour — particularly when it comes from public figures. If this had been a farmer, would the reaction have been different? And why do we seem to have such a poor safety culture in farming when we know the risks?

Harry from CFMOTO and Chair of the ATV section of the Agricultural Engineers Association shares his thoughts on the topic.
