Welcome back to another episode of The Wilson Ashley Podcast with Rebecca Wilson and Charlotte Ashley!

This week starts exactly as you’d expect — with complete farm-life chaos, conversations about cats, “toe beans”, the possibility of gifting Rosie a kitten, and Charlotte desperately hoping it doesn’t rain while her car windows are down! Because apparently, even when we’re about to have a serious conversation, there’s always time for a tangent.

But once the laughter settles, we get into a much more serious and important subject: farm accidents.

Farming is an incredible way of life, but it can also be incredibly dangerous. With machinery, livestock, vehicles, working at height and so many unpredictable situations being part of everyday life, accidents on farms can have devastating consequences. In this episode, we talk openly about the realities of farm safety, the risks that can sometimes become part of the routine, and why it’s so important not to become complacent.

It’s a conversation that we know may hit close to home for many people in the farming community. We want to talk about these subjects honestly and openly — without losing the personality, humour and real-life stories that make the Wilson Ashley Podcast what it is.

So, as always, expect plenty of laughs, plenty of interruptions, completely unnecessary tangents, and a conversation about the realities of modern farming.
